Crufts 2025 – An Unforgettable Journey

This year’s Crufts was truly special for us at Kennel Calladano – full of emotions, pride, and unforgettable moments. We’d love to share some of the highlights with you.

First and foremost, our deepest thanks go to the breeders who have made this wonderful breed what it is today. Without your dedication and passion, none of this would be possible. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this incredible journey and for your continued work preserving and improving the Portuguese Water Dogs.

Crufts 2025 also brought us back to where it all started. Our beloved Jonatan Rarach z Kasétek, now enjoying his show retirement, returned to the green carpet — this time alongside my young son Kubíček. Together, they proudly earned 2nd place in the Working Dog class. It was a heartwarming and emotional moment for our entire family.

We also had the great joy of introducing our young dog Orin – Viva Merlot Tempus Ad Miraculum, who made his Crufts debut with an amazing 1st place in the Post Graduate Class! We couldn’t be more proud of his performance and the confirmation that we are moving in the right direction with our breeding programme.

A huge thank you to all the friends who support us, cheer us on, and stand by our side – we are incredibly grateful for your kindness. And of course, a very special thank you to our wonderful photographer Michaela Martincová (BaoWoof) for her beautiful photos and her endless patience.

Crufts 2025 reminded us why we do what we do – it’s about passion, love for the breed, lasting friendships, and sharing these magical moments with people who truly understand how special it all is.

Wigan District Canine Society Open Dogshow 1.2.2025

We are beyond excited to share that our Orin, Viva Merlot Tempus ad Miraculum, took 1st place in the Post Graduate class and earned AVNSC BOB at the Wigan District Canine Society Open Dogshow on February 1st, 2025!

We are incredibly proud of our fluffy boy’s achievements and are so grateful for his success in the ring. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and cheered us on! We look forward to the next chapter in Orin’s journey.

19.01.2025 Manchester General Championship Dogshow

We are thrilled to announce that our "Fancha", Filla Modry Kvet, achieved a VHC placement in the Post Graduate class at the Manchester General Championship on January 19th, 2025!

This is a fantastic result, and we are so proud of her performance. Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout this journey! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this incredible girl.

17.01.2025 Manchester General Championship Dogshow

Our Orin, Viva Merlot Tempus ad Miraculum, achieved 1st place in the Post Graduate class at the Manchester General Championship Dogshow on January 17th, 2025! 🏆🐾

LKA General Championship 13.12.2024

At the prestigious LKA General Championship on December 13th, 2024, our Orin, Viva Merlot Tempus ad Miraculum, took 1st place in the Post Graduate class! 🏆🐾🎄

On November 3, 2024, our incredible boy, Viva Merlot Tempus ad Miraculum "Orin", achieved A.V.N.S.C. BOB and Group 2 at the show in St. Helens! 🏆🐾

We are beyond thrilled with this achievement! A huge thank you to judge Helen Davenport-Willis for your wonderful decision and for recognizing Orin's qualities. 🙏❤️

On September 22, 2024, all of our puppies have left for their new homes with their wonderful families. 🏡💖 We're so excited for their new journeys and grateful to the families who will give them loving homes! 🐾 Thank you to everyone who has been part of this special chapter!

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our first litter, born on July 28, 2024! 🎉 We have 7 beautiful puppies—2 boys and 5 girls. 🐾❤️ For more details, please visit our Kennel section. 

We are very happy to introduce our first scheduled litter for this summer at our kennel. We are accepting applicants for puppies.

Welcome to my website!

I’m Katka, originally from the Czech Republic, and I’ve dedicated my life to working with dogs. With over 20 years of experience in dog shows, agility, training, grooming, and more, I have a deep passion for everything canine. I’m a veterinary nurse with qualifications in grooming and training, and I’ve always found it incredibly fulfilling to work with dogs.

Together with my dogs, I’ve passed multiple obedience exams and won numerous awards in grooming competitions and exhibitions. My business and services are an extension of the work I’ve done in the Czech Republic, where providing top-quality, safe, and knowledgeable care has always been my passion.

I love my job because it allows me to help pets and their owners achieve their best. I offer personalized, one-on-one services, tailoring each session to the unique needs of every dog. In addition to grooming, I provide guidance, full training services, exhibition preparation, and handling.
