ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Katerina,

and dogs have been at the heart of my life for over 20 years. Originally from the Czech Republic, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding, caring for, and working with dogs in every way – With qualifications in veterinary nursing and experience as a groomer, trainer, show handler and breeder. In addition to regular grooming, I also successfully prepare dogs for dog shows, working not only with our own dogs but also with some of my clients’ dogs, ensuring a polished and professional appearance for every occasion.

As a single mother of three, I created my home-based grooming salon, combining professional expertise with a calm, family-friendly environment. Here, dogs are not just clients – they’re family. I’m passionate about tailoring every service to each dog, drawing on years of hands-on experience to ensure their health, welfare, comfort, and happiness.

From everyday grooming to luxurious spa treatments, my goal is always to provide expert, stress-free care that meets the unique needs of each dog.

„ My dog Tyson is usually difficult when it comes to nail trimming, and other salons wouldn’t take him. But when we found CaladanDogService, Katka welcomed us with open arms and assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. Tyson was a bit nervous at first, but Katka was so gentle and patient. Now, Tyson actually looks forward to his nail trims! I’m so glad I found a salon that takes my dog without any judgment. Highly recommend! “

„ I’ve lost count of the number of times people have stopped me in the street to comment on how beautiful Nelson and River look after they’ve been groomed by Kat. She has just opened her new salon in Wigan, has taught me how to maintain their coats between grooms, and went out of her way to help me with them after I fractured my wrist, took exceptional care grooming River when she had an injury. Not many people get a kiss from Nelson either! I can’t recommend her highly enough. “

„ My experience with Katerina was brilliant, she is extremely knowledgeable and has a brilliant way of handling dogs. I had really struggled with my two dogs before I started my sessions with Katerina but after the first session you could really see the difference in them, they now behave brilliantly and are obedient. I highly recommend anyone who is struggling with their dog to give Katerina a call! “
